The use of intraoral scanning and digital models in orthodontic treatment with aligners. A case report.
Journal Title: Medicine in Evolution - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 2
Abstract
Digital impression techniques reduce the patient discomfort and are more time-efficient, thus creating a better patient experience. The purpose of this case report is to present an orthodontic treatment with aligners, which were custom-made based on the patients’ intraoral scans, designed to gradually shift the teeth in the desired position.
