The Use of Tiktok as a Tool for English Grammar Instruction: An Analysis of the @Excellentinhousetraining Tiktok Account

Abstract
This study investigates the potential of TikTok as an educational tool for English grammar instruction focusing on the @excellentinhousetraining TikTok account. With the rising use of social media in education, this study explores how TikTok's unique multimedia and interactive features can make grammar lessons more engaging and accessible for Generation Z learners. Using a qualitative approach, the study analyzes grammar-focused videos from @excellentinhousetraining published between 2023 and 2024. Key findings reveal that TikTok’s audiovisual format, concise content structure, and interactive elements include enhance learner engagement, facilitate content accessibility, and improve understanding of grammar concepts of their users. The study highlights TikTok’s capacity to support flexible, self-paced learning and suggests that integrating social media-based modules into formal education could address engagement challenges in traditional grammar instruction. These insights position TikTok as a promising supplementary tool in modern language learning.
