THE WRITTEN SOURCE AS A COMPONENT OF A SCHOOLTEXTBOOK ON THE HISTORY OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article analyzes the textbook on the history of Ukraine for general educational institutions for the purpose of using written historical sources as a way of implementing an activity approach in organizing the educational process. Specific examples show the correspondence of written sources in various textbooks with didactic requirements. The educational, developmental and educational potential of documentary sources in the study of history is revealed, attention has been paid to the methodical apparatus accompanying historical sources.
