Thematic Structure and Directivity of Reflection the Family in the Ukrainian Press (by the Example of Newspapers «Simya i Dim» and «Visnyk + K»)

Abstract

The analysis of periodicals (newspapers «Simya i dim» and «Visnyk + K», Oct.–Decemb. 2015) identified priority issues within the authors identified clusters on the image of the family. The main categories of analysis for the formalized content analytical study of the image of the family in the press are systemized, in particular, there are singled out as follows: I. Family by a family structure; II. The life cycle of family; III. Family as the presence of married couples; IV. Family as on the number of children; V. Family by type education; VI. Family with special conditions of life; VII. Sign publication. Two trends revealed in the coverage of family stories. The newspaper «Simya i dim» mainly focuses on family life stories of famous people, then as the newspaper «Visnyk + K» – as family history ordinary Ukrainian families, which are intertwined with the history of the country. The authors proposed thematic block that concerns dysfunctional families to study on the basis of traditional document review.
