THEMES OF MUHAMMAS MIRZA ISMAIL GASIR

Abstract
Mirza Ismail Gasir (1805–1900) one of the prominent representatives of Azerbaijani literature of XIX century. In the classical style he wrote gazelles, mirabba, mukhammas, musaddas, terkibband, terdzhiband, mesnevi and in the style of oral folk literature-goshma. Poet`s mukhammases written primarily form of treatment to a group of people or to individuals. Thematic area of these verses is wide. In his mukhammases Mirza Ismail writes about his life, about his financial difficulties, on relationships with others, in some cases, requested financial assistance from different people.
