THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH OF MACHINING OPERATIONS COST

Abstract
The terms of significant reduction in the cost of parts machining, consisting in the application of modern high -performance modular instruments with wear-resistant coatings have been theoretically and experimentally substantiated. It has been proved that between the cost and processing capacity at the point of cost extremum (minimum) there is an inversely proportional relationship. Therefore, to achieve substantial cost reduction it is possible only due to increasing productivity. This increase in the cost of the tools is compensated by an increase in productivity and a decrease in the cost of processing. It has been established that an increase in processing efficiency is accompanied by increase in tooling costs in relation to the cost of workmen’s wages, but in general the cost of workmen’s wages always exceeds the cost of the tool. Obtained theoretical solutions are confirmed experimentally. It has been found that through the use of modular tools with carbide wear-resistant coatings the performance can be increased 10 times and processing costs can be decreased that is very difficult to achieve by other economic methods. This allows you to successfully solve the problem of creating a competitive machine-building production and Ukrainian enterprises bailout.
