Theoretical and Experimental Studies at the Weapon’s Jump of the Automatic Small Arms

Abstract

This paper presents the results of theoretical and experimental studies at the weapon’s jump of the chosen models of automatic firearms. Results of the theoretical studies were gained by the simulations made with the physical and mathematical models prepared during the research. Experimental studies included live fire tests on the specially built laboratory test stand. The results showed that the weapon’s jump is strongly affected by the moving parts of the automatic firearm.
