Abstract
Legal aspects of protective function of law for social maintenance have been analyzed theoretically in conditions of modern Ukraine. The role of government activity in the sphere of social maintenance is determined. The tasks of the government have been formed in the sphere of social maintenance law due to the theoretical and legal analysis.
