THEORETICAL AND METHODICAL APPROACHES TO THE INTERPRETATION OF “ECONOMIC MECHANISM OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION”

Abstract
Purpose. The aim of the article is the development of theoretical and methodological provisions for the interpretation of the categories “economic mechanism”. Methodology of research. The following methods are used to solve the problems set in the work, namely: a dialectical method of scientific knowledge, analysis and synthesis, systemic generalization – in the study of the economic mechanism and the functioning of its individual elements in the system of agricultural production. Results. It is proved that the content of the investigated mechanism is determined by the intended purpose, interaction and functions of its constituents. Features and relative autonomy are characteristic for each of the elements of the organizational and economic mechanism, but the result of their interaction involves the implementation of common tasks. It is concluded on the basis of generalization of the main theoretical approaches to the definition of organizational and economic mechanism that it is interpreted as a set of states of the system in economic systems or a set of social and economic states of the economic system; as the engines of development and the features of its interaction with other elements; the process of functioning of the economic system, which is based on a set of industrial relations; combination of self-regulatory activities of economic entities with regulatory functions of the state. Scientific novelty. It is determined that the organizational and economic mechanism forms its main elements: legislative base, information provision, marketing, planning and forecasting, as well as price, financial and credit and investment mechanisms, tax and insurance systems, etc. These mechanisms simultaneously affect the production and labor resources, material and technical support, cooperation and integration to solve issues for improving the technology of agricultural production, its intensification. Practical significance. The obtained research results will promote the objective substantiation of the essence of the organizational and economic mechanism and its effective use in the system of agricultural production.
