THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL BASIS OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL AND ECONOMIC MECHANISM OF THE FUNCTIONING OF THE MARKET OF SWINE PRODUCTION

Abstract
Purpose. The aim of the article is the theoretical provisions and practical recommendations on the functioning of the organizational and economic mechanism of the market for pig products. Methodology of the research. The dialectical method of scientific knowledge is used in the process of scientific research for the solution of the tasks, such as: analysis, synthesis and system generalization. Findings. It is proved that the market of pig products is an integral part of the domestic agro-food market. It is established that the characteristic features of a specific environment for the development of market relations are: saturated and stable demand and stable supply; the flexibility of the system of economic relations in the “production-consumption” chain; stable functioning of distribution and sales logistics subjects; presence of a developed network of specialized credit and financial and insurance institutes, state and commercial information and analytical centers; constant coordination of economic actions between business entities in the course of increasing competition between them; operation of developed inter-and intra-industry economic relations with the active participation of the state; regulation of the market for pig products based on the use of targeted programs; developed production and market infrastructure of the meat market; developed legal framework, which is implemented through a complex interconnected system of state, legal, economic, organizational and administrative measures. Originality. It is proved that the market of pig products is a sphere of manifestation of economic relations between commodity producers and consumers of pork and products of its processing, as well as the coordination of their economic interests. It is established that the basis of these relations is, on the one hand, the supply of meat raw materials and products of its processing, and, on the other, demand for them. It is found that economic relations that arise as a result of their interaction and the establishment of relative equilibrium between them are carried out in the sphere of production, exchange, distribution and consumption of pork meat and products of its processing form the economic mechanism of the pig market. Practical value. It has been determined that there is a need to transform the organizational and economic mechanism in order to ensure in the current conditions of a stable functioning of the pig market. It has been established that it is necessary to meet fully the needs of processing enterprises for quality and safe raw materials and to exhaust the possibilities of realization of export potential for the restoration and strengthening of existing growth points in the pig breeding industry.
