THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF DETERMINATION OF ESSENCE AND FUNCTIONS OF REINSURANCE

Abstract
The article generalizes the scientific approaches to the definition of the essence of the concept of “reinsurance”. The reinsurance functions are systematized. The author’s approach to the definition of reinsurance functions is proposed. The current state of development of the reinsurance market in Ukraine is analysed. The main problems of the reinsurance market development in Ukraine are determined.
