THEORETICAL BASICS OF WORKING WITH STUDENTS WITH SPECIFIC LEARNING DIFFICULTIES

Abstract

This paper presents some aspects of working with students with specific learning difficulties. It contains explanations of terminology, the legal basis of organizing pedagogical-psychological help for students with dyslexia, the characteristics of the student with reading and writing problems and specific solutions supporting the development of the student in the learning process. In addition, in this work dyslexia is presented as the reason of minimal damage to the brain, the role of teaching methods in working with dyslexic pupils and the subject of national conference Dyslexia – what’s new in theory and practice?.<br/><br/>
