THEORETICAL-PRACTICAL ASPECTS OF USING ICT-BASED COMMUNICATION CHANNELS IN THE ACTIVITIES OF IT- ORGANIZATIONS

Abstract
The article deals with modern social and informational approaches to the definition of «communication». The functional features of different types of communication channels are singled out. The American channel expansion theory is described. As long as at the present stage of the development of the information society communication processes are carried out in a computer-based environment using computer channels, in this study we focus our attention on modern communication channels of e-communication. Communication means of interactive communication in the Internet occupy leading positions in the modern communication system, since they simplify the process of information exchange, increase productivity of collaboration and allow to manage communication both internally and externally of organization. In addition, today, means of communication, such as mobile applications, which extend their functionality compared to the computer, are becoming more and more popular. Digital communication is getting extremely topical because of a significant influence, which informatization and globalization have on society nowadays. The article summarizes the practical cases of applying modern professional communication channels in IT organizations, such as Ukrainian IT company «Devlight», which is engaged in the development of business in Ukraine with the help of digital technologies, the global company «Google», especially its communication system, and the international IT company «Provectus».
