Theoretical-practical problems of definition of concepts "hospitality industry" and "tourism industry"

Abstract
Different approaches to the definition of the concepts of tourism, hospitality, tourism industry and hospitality industry are considered and systematized, a comparison of domestic scientific thought and a foreign opinion on the problem is made, as well as an author's vision of these categories is proposed. A substantive emphasis on the category "hospitality industry" was made, as on the one that, according to the author, is more modern and corresponds to the realities of time, its key elements are determined, the need for their parallel development is noted. For a broader understanding of the problem, an analysis of incomes and expenditures in the hospitality industry was made, which led to the conclusion that imperfection of official statistics regarding various aspects of the activities of the subjects of the hospitality market.
