THERMODYNAMIC FUNCTIONS OF THE REDUCTION REACTIONS OF TITANOMAGNETITE CONCENTRATE OF ADZHINAUR SANDSTONES BY NATURAL GAS
Journal Title: Azerbaijan Chemical Journal - Year 2016, Vol 0, Issue 4
Abstract
The temperature dependences of Gibbs free energy have been calculated for reduction reactions of pellets fluxed with Na2CO3 of titanomagnetite concentrate of Adzhinaur sandstones by natural gas, to determine the optimal temperature range for producing the iron powder through magnetite and wustite Fe3O4 + CH4 = 3FeO + CO + 2H2 , FeO + CH4 = Fe + CO + 2H2 , Fe3O4 + CH4 = 3Fe + CO2 + 2H2O . It was revealed that the equilibria of the final total reaction shifts to the right side, starting with the 1010 K ( <0).

The topic of this review is to briefly present the chemistry of the topological insulators (TIs) based on thallium chalcogenides. Numerous phase diagrams of ternary Tl–BV–X (BV – Sb, Bi; X – Se, Te) systems include TlBVX...
IMMOBILIZED CROWN COMPOUNDS AS ADSORBENT IN THE COLUMN CHROMATOGRAPHY
The racemate of L--alanine ester-2-butanol, propylene oxide were separated into their individual diastereoisorners, using immobilized crown ether as adsorbent by column chromatograpy. The resulting diastereoisomers were...
MECHANISM OF MUTUAL INFLUENCE AND INTERCONNECTION OF ANTIOXIDATIVE ACTION OF PHENOL-, AMINO- AND SULPHUR-GROUPS
A study is made of the influence of polyphenolsulfides on decomposion of hydroperoxide of cumin. An effect of increasing the time of expenditure of hydroperoxide in diluted solutions relatively the concentrated ones has...
OXIDATIVE CONVERSION OF PROPYLENE TO ACROLEIN ON METAL ZEOLITE CATALYSTS
Catalytic activity of modified zeolites in the reactions of oxidative conversion of propylene to acrolein was studied. It was established that Ni-clinoptilolite (1% Ni2+) exhibits high activity in the studied reaction....
LIQUID-PHASE OXIDATION OF CUMENE BY MOLECULAR OXYGEN IN THE PRESENCE OF N-(p-ACETAMIDPHENYL)IMIDE DICHLOROMALEIC ACID
Oxidation reaction of cumene with molecular oxygen at 1000С in the presence of N-(p-acetamidphenyl) imide di-chloromaleic acid synthesized has been investigated in vitro by the method developed by us. It is found that im...
