Abstract

Established in 1867, the herbarium of “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iaşi (I) now comprises more than 183,500 botanical specimens, covering all major plant groups. The paper brings new distribution data information of some tracheophytes included in “The red book of vascular plants of Romania” (Dihoru and Negrean, 2009), identified by the authors in the I herbarium collection. 1296 herbarium sheets, corresponding to 204 taxa were examined by us; the specimens were collected between 1894-2016. The I herbarium database were revised accordingly.
