TIME VARIABILITY OF WATER FLOW, TEMPERATURE AND SALINITY -COMPARISON OF EXPERIMENT'S RESULTS WITH HIROMB MODEL FORECAST
Journal Title: Biuletyn Instytutu Morskiego - Year 1997, Vol 24, Issue 1
Abstract
During the POLRODEX '96 experiment in situ measurements have been carried out in the period 21.07-14.08.1996 and included registrations of water currents, salinity, temperature, changes of free surface elevation. Measurements have been done as short-term (CTD) and long-term registrations. Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) delivered results from HIROMB model for the period 23.07-12.08.96 with the frequency of 6 hours. In this paper comparison will concentrate on temporal variability of measured and calculated values.
