TIN ELECTRODEPOSITION ON CARBON STEEL. THE INFLUENCE OF THE CONCENTRATION, ADDITIVES AND OF THE METHOD
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii din Bucuresti. Chimie - Year 2009, Vol 18, Issue 2
Abstract
Tin electrodeposition onto carbon steel from SnCl2 solutions at different concentrations was evaluated in the absence and the presence of boric acid, ammonium citrate, tartric acid and sodium chloride. The phase formation of tin film onto a carbon steel electrode was investigated using: linear voltammetry, linear potentiometry, chronoamperometry, normal and differential pulse voltammetry.

INCIPIENT PHASE OF THE CATALYTIC IGNITION OF LEAN n-HEPTANE-AIR MIXTURE
The incipient phase of catalytic ignition of 1.20% n-heptane-air over the surface of a heated platinum wire has been investigated at atmospheric pressure. The experimental setup allowed for ignition in isothermal conditi...
EXPERIMENTAL AND QUANTUM CHEMICAL INVESTIGATION OF NEW ELECTROLUMINESCENT MATERIAL BASED ON THIOPHENE, PHENYLENE AND ANTRACENE
In this paper, we first report, the synthesis and physical properties of a recent soluble polymer based on thiophene, phenylene and antracene. Then, we present a detailed DFT study based on B3LYP/6-31G* of geometrical st...
APPLICATIONS OF THE CATASTROPHE THEORY (CT) IN THE STUDY OF THE SCF THEORY AND METHOD
The energetic SCF(selfconsistent field) functionals (the SCF energy(I), the rotational increment of the SCF energy(II) and the rotational gradient of of SCF Lagrange multipliers(III)) are fitted by the catastrophe struct...

THERMAL ANNEALING KINETICS OF RADICALS FORMED BY THE RADIOLYSIS IN POLYCRYSTALLINE SOLID STATE OF ARGININE
The radiolysis with gamma radiation of arginine, in solid polycrystalline state, was performed at room temperature. The EPR spectra, recorded after radiolysis allowed the identification of three paramagnetic centers. A p...
