Abstract
St. Petersburg Medical and Surgical Academy is a special higher educational institution for the training of doctors, mainly for military and naval departments. Founded on December 29, 1798. Now, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs carries out a number of tasks, in particular, the preparation and production of first-class medical personnel of the military department and military personnel of the medical service of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, being the main scientific research institution and the leading military medical institution of the Russian Defense Ministry. The Academy, in its present year, the year 2018, the anniversary of its founding, gathered together its centuries-old history of formation and reforming both the education system and the military sphere of the state, reaching the apogee of its perfection, making an invaluable contribution to the strength and power of the Russian Federation.
