Abstract

The article is a critical discussion of Tomasz Kukołowicz’s book Raperzy kontra filomaci, which is an important voice in the discussion on rap. The publication was devoted to the connections between the creative imagination of contemporary Polish rappers and the artistic activity of Vilnius philomaths. The author in her review focuses mainly on the part devoted to the subculture, the elaboration of which raises the greatest doubts. Le texte en question est une présentation critique du livre de Tomasz Kukołowicz Raperzy kontra filomaci étant une opinion importante dans la discussion sur le rap. La publication est consacrée aux relations entre l’imagination créative des rappeurs polonais et l’activité artistique des philomates de Vilnius. Dans sa critique, l’auteure se concentre surtout sur la partie consacrée à la sous-culture dont la présentation peut être mise en doute.
