Abstract
The article is devoted to the sources of sustainable development goals on the example of the toposis of life stimuli in the medieval literary text Izbornik Svytoslava 1076. The topos of Christian restraint and poverty, health, well-being, education, upbringing, gender equality, and management are highlighted and grounded. These toposas correspond to the goals of sustainable development.
