Tourism as a Tool for Strengthening the “Soft Power” of Azerbaijan

Abstract

Abstract The relevance of this topic is due to the fact that tourism today is a powerful and effective tool of “soft power” in Azerbaijan. The current state, principles and main directions of state policy in the field of tourism are considered. The importance of an integrated approach in the field of tourism research is emphasized. Scientific novelty lies in the analysis of new aspects and trends in tourism development, the search for new solutions and approaches to improving the tourist experience, as well as the application of new methods and technologies for the analysis and management of the tourism industry. The article provides recommendations for the development of tourism in Azerbaijan, which contributes to the strengthening of “soft power”.
