Trade relations and foreign policy of Turkmenistan

Abstract
The article investigates the interdependence of trade, economic relations and foreign policy of Turkmenistan since independence. The influence of the status of a permanently neutral state in the form of international economic cooperation and diversification of energy recipients is analyzed. The dynamics of relations with major trading partners (China, Russia, Turkey), and the prospects for their further development, taking into account the need to preserve the sovereign foreign policy.The role of Turkmenistan as a transit country on the trade route between the East and the West.
