TRANSFORMATION AND INTERPOLATION ISSUES IN GEO-INFORMATION MODELING

Abstract
Data geo-reference and interpolation issues are the main problems faced while creating the geo-information model. The article reviews the transformation of the raster maps of different scales, and explains existing methods within the geo-reference operations. Numerous deterministic and geo-statistic interpolation methods are presented. Moreover, LIDAR and GeoEye-1 data analysis is conducted for the geo-information modeling.
