TRANSFORMATION OF AESTHETIC PERCEPTION IN THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY: GAMES WITH SPACE AND TIME

Abstract
The following features determine temporal transformations of the contemporary cultural world: speed, density, multithreading, multi-directional orientation, shortness or “high temporality”. To significant spatial changes, include distance alignment and space compression, mobility for high adaptability of the space, and its multifunctionality and symbolic multilayer. Virtualization and the democratization of space form a special cultural requirement – marked presence. That post-situational assessment provides a chronotope of aesthetic experience a special status. This status is distinguished by the special meaningfulness, quality of feelings, intensity, concentration, “break” of time-spatial extension, the obligation to apply the principle of presence and relevance / timeliness.
