TRANSFORMATION OF INTERNATIONAL PAYMENT SYSTEMS AS A WAY TO INCREASE THE EFFICIENCY OF INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL ACTIVITIES

Abstract
The study of international payment systems made it possible to identify the stages of their transformation. The process is formed from national, international and regional systems to electronic, digital systems. Classifications of international payment systems are generalized. It is determined that the emergence of new payment systems creates an innovative potential for the development of modern international finance. Domestic enterprises have new opportunities to protect foreign economic activity from currency risks.
