Abstract
The article deals with the problems of inventory accounting in modern conditions and the process of their reflection in the account. Coverage of the issue of adapting the modern accounting system of inventories to the requirements of optimizing the efficiency and reliability of providing information for management needs in order to rationalize asset management and improve the efficiency of business entities in general.
