Trauma of the middle ear

Abstract

Head trauma belong to the most common body’s injury in the modern era. Most of them are connected with the middle ear trauma. Thence such patients suffer from hearing loss, vertigo, facial palsy and cerebellar flid leak. The middle ear trauma could apply from tympanic membrane perforation or ossicular chain damage and perilymphatic fitula. The aim of the study was to introduce the most common type of middle ear trauma, their diagnostic procedure and therapeutic methods.
