Trend and its graphic presentation in the process of real estate value assessment. A comparative approach

Abstract
A correct updating of transaction prices on account of the flow of time has the key significance in the process of real estate valuation. The author presents selected elements of the procedure of real estate market value assessment from the comparative approach, with the use of comparison in pairs and average price adjustment methods. He also attempts at assessing the influence of the manner of transaction price index estimation on the estimated value of real estate and indicates errors connected with the graphic presentation of data.
