Journal Title: Revista Institutului Național al Justiției - Year 2019, Vol 48, Issue 1

Abstract

The present article shall attempt to illustrate crimes that in the current context have acquired international valences, namely human trafficking, the destruction of international value and piracy. We shall address the issue from a historical and doctrinal perspective. Thereby, the analysis of the international crimes wil be done from the temporal perspective of conventions that have regulated them. Consideration will be given to how states have, over time, been able to combat and legislate on global criminal phenomena.
