TRENDS IN VALORIZING FIREWOOD IN ARAD FORESTRY DEPARTMENT, IN THE CONTEXT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The paper analyzes trends of valorizing firewood in the context of sustainable development of forests from the Arad Forestry Department. The study results presented the possibility of using firewood, which is a renewable resource, instead of other resources such as gas or oil, which are limited resources. There is untapped at the time that the trees sick, sick comply, broken, uprooted or dried, may prejudice the future growth and development of trees. Not exploiting sick, inadequately developed, broken, uprooted or dried trees in time may jeopardize the future growth and development of the forest. Firewood is a renewable source of fuel that is used primarily in rural areas.
