Abstract
s paper describes what determines the coefficient of friction in the general case before scuffing of machine components. The authors discussed a method for the improvement friction parameters of sports equipment, for example, friction between sleds runners and ice. It also presents a discussion on the cooperation between locomotive wheels and rails for increase adhesive forces. The article also presents information on a new cooling lubricant fluids used in metal cutting, during which a coating is produced on the surface of the turned element. Finally, the paper discusses new projects and a research test rig for the study of human joints.
