TURKISH VERSION OF EXPRESSION OF GRATITUDE İN RELATIONSHIPS MEASURE (EGRM): THE STUDY OF VALIDITY AND RELIABILITY

Abstract
Theaim of thisresearch is toexaminethevalidityandreliability of theTurkishversion of theExpression of Gratitude in RelationshipsMeasure(EGRM; Lambert, Clark,Durtschi, Fincham&Graham, 2010). Participantswere 304 undergreduatestudents (165 werefemaleand 139 weremale) from Sakarya University. Results of confirmatoryfactoranalysisdemonstratedthatthisscaleyieldedonefactor, as original form andthatthe model waswell fit (x²= 0.00, df= 0, RMSEA= 0.000, NFI= 1.00, CFI= 1.00, IFI= 1.00, RFI= 1.00, GFI= 1.00). Correcteditem-total correlationsranged .51to .70. Theinternalconsistencycoefficient of thescalewas .78. ThusExpression of Gratitude in RelationshipsMeasure can be used as a validandreliableinstrument in education.
