Turkmenistan in the geocultural space of Central Asia and cultural ties with Ukraine

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to highlight Turkmenistan's policy in shaping the geocultural space of Central Asia and to identify Ukraine's importance in the system of inter-state ties in the humanitarian sphere. Research methods. The principles of systematic and integrated approach were the basis of the choice of methods of study. The research uses the method of documentary analysis and synthesis, which has allowed us to trace the development of cultural ties between Turkmenistan and Ukraine in a time perspective. The use of these methods of research contributed to obtaining their own theoretical results. Scientific novelty of the obtained results consists in the formulation and development of an actual topic, which in scientific terms did not receive comprehensive and objective coverage and is investigated for the first time. The idea of the geocultural space of Central Asia is grounded as a global phenomenon. In this context, the scientific problem is the question of forming the basis of cultural cooperation between Turkmenistan and Ukraine on the basis of the potential of long-term friendship. Conclusions. The principles on which the foreign policy course of Turk-menistan is constructed are clear benchmarks for the development and strengthening of Turkmenistan's bilateral and multilateral relations with the states of the world, first of all, with the countries of the Central Asian region. Ukraine is one of the important partners of Turkmenistan. It is noted that the Turkmen-Ukrainian cooperation in the humanitarian field has traditionally occupied a special place in relations between the two countries. It is based on a rich history of peoples, their tremendous contribution to world culture, and the constant interest in each other's spiritual life.
