Two new species of the genus Notiophilus Dumeril, 1806 (Coleoptera: Carabidae) from India and Afghanistan

Abstract
This article describes two new species of the genus Notiophilus Dumeril, 1806 (Coleoptera: Carabidae) from the West Himalayas: N. jalaoriensis sp.n. has been found in India, Himachal Pradesh, Jalaori pass, and N. nuristanensis sp.n. has been collected in Afghanistan, i.e. in the province of Nuristan. The new species are compared with other species of this genus distributed in the West Himalayas and neighbouring territories. The key for determination of West Himalayan species is presented.
