Types of public services which are provided by the National Police of Ukraine

Abstract
The scientific article is devoted to the coverage of scientific approaches to distinguish the types of public services provided by the National Police of Ukraine. Based on various scientific regulations and legal acts, a clear division of the types of public services provided by the relevant departments of the National Police of Ukraine has been made. The types of public services provided by the National Police of Ukraine can be distinguished in the following areas: 1) related to the issuance of permits for firearms, ammunition, and other objects; 2) road safety; 3) security activities (protection of property of citizens, organizations, as well as objects subject to mandatory protection, etc.). Specific types of public services provided by the National Police are identified, in particular: 1) by the departments of expert service: certification of weapons, constructively similar products, pillboxes, pyrotechnic articles of domestic use and fireworks with issuance of certificates; 2) units of the National Police: issuance of permits for the purchase and transportation of firearms, ammunition, and other items subject to a permit system (for legal entities and individuals); issuance of a permit for storage and wearing (registration, re-registration) of reward weapons, hunting, cold, pneumatic weapons, and other objects subject to the permissive system; Re-registration of weapons at the place of its registration from one owner to another; issuance of a permit (registration of documents) for the opening and operation of facilities licensing system, working with explosive materials, pyrotechnic workshops and other objects; issue of duplicate documents of permissive character in case of their loss or damage
