Typologization of European models of budget participation

Abstract
The European practice of implementing the participation budget, developed as a result of borrowing and a combination of features of the Brazilian and New Zealand models, is examined. Based on the three main characteristics of the participation budget (the circle of involved people, the sources of financing, the nature of collective decisions), the advantages and disadvantages of the six basic models are analyzed in detail.
