Abstract
The contribution presents analyse of the types of the Roma minority settlement. The Roma minority prefer voluntary segregation. They live in separated settlements in rural environment. in towns they concentrate in streets, quarters and ghettos. The Roma settlements have common features: poverty, unemployment, criminality, bad hygiene and living conditions. Only a little part of the Roma is scattered among the majority population.
