Abstract
Józef Glinkiewicz (1845–1905) był redaktorem, dziennikarzem, literatem i tłumaczem, pochodzącym z zaboru pruskiego. Praca na stanowisku redaktora odpowiedzialnego „Gazety Toruńskiej” doprowadziła do kilku procesów prasowych, w wyniku których redaktora skazano nie tylko na kary finansowe, ale również na dwa lata więzienia. W tej sytuacji w lipcu 1875 r. opuścił Niemcy i na stałe osiadł w Wiedniu, gdzie pracując w różnych redakcjach pozostał do końca życia
