UKRAINE IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBAL MIGRATION PROCESSES

Abstract
The research focuses on the recent trends of growing global migration flows. It analyzes the dynamics of migration processes in the countries of European Community and defines the position and the role of Ukraine within those processes. The research discloses the existing threats of international labor migration for Ukrainians and highlights the negative implications for Ukrainian economy. It offers the directions for the state migration policy targeted at the development of integral policy for managing migration flows to restrict the drain of gainfully employed population from Ukraine.
