UKRAINIAN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS IN TERMS OF THE INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STATE

Abstract
In Ukraine, as in the other countries, higher education for a long time has been interpreted not only as a necessary element for the development and competitiveness of the individual in the labor market, but also as a kind of «product» that can be offered by the educational institutions to their customers. And, despite the fact that we are quite a long time dealing with this phenomenon, in the modern economy «educational services market, especially in the context of globalization was not explored until recently. Due to the emergence of the trend towards globalization, many institutions of higher education tended to the internationalization of higher education. In terms of globalization, i.e. convergence of national higher education systems of different countries, one of the trends of university strategies was to integrate the national educational services in the global education system. Universities in a competitive educational services market should evaluate their competitiveness and develop their core technologies and projects that will permanently enhance the role of the institution in the national and international markets.
