UKRANIAN BANKING SUPERVISION EVOLUSHION

Abstract
The international and domestic experience shows that the main factors of financial destabilization during the financial crises are in the banking sector. The analysis of the Ukrainian banking system and the main regulatory aspects shows that there are problems which indicate the crisis in the banking system of Ukraine, in particular in the banking regulation and supervision system. To overcome these phenomena, it is necessary to introduce a comprehensive strategy for the gradual transition to the restoration of banking business in Ukraine with further steps to implement the recommendations of the Basel Committee.
