УКРАЇНСЬКА ЛІТЕРАТУРА В ГРЕЦЬКИХ ПЕРЕКЛАДАХ

Abstract
У статті висвітлено стан та динаміку перекладацького процесу української літератури на новогрецьку мову. Наведено відомості про перекладачів українських творів, їхнє жанрове різноманіття. У статті здійснено спробу розкрити одну зі сторінок українсько-грецьких літературних взаємин. Авторка намагається узагальнено осмислити відомий і незнаний матеріал, який стосується освоєння грецькими літературознавцями творчості українських поетів і письменників. The article investigates the state and the dynamics of Greek translations from Ukrainian literature. It suggests the data about Greek writers – translators of the Ukrainian literature, their publications in periodicals; it also covers the sphere of genre variety of the translations from ancient authors. For the first time a descriptive picture of the development of Ukrainian literature by Greek artists is presented. One of the pages of Ukrainian – Greek relations in literature translation is shown in the article. The author tries to analyze well known and unknown material concerning the research of the Ukrainian writers works by the specialists in literature translation. The study does not intend to analyze Ukrainian translations of texts in Modern Greek. The scientific works of the most famous linguists are analyzed in this research. The author gives a full description of the history development of literature translation of Ukrainian writers in Greek language, starting from the ancient times till nowadays. First the chronology of well-known Ukrainian writers Taras Shevchenko’s, Ivan Franko’s works and his personality studies are described in the given research. It’s widely known that Shevchenko’s works occupy an important place in Ukrainian literature. His works are translated into many languages. Basically the article deals with the definition of the role of Taras Shevchenko and his activity in the Greek literary world, with the description of the chronological and qualitative characteristics of the translations of his literary works, with the definition of position of the Ukrainian and Greek translators, poets and writers in the presentation of Taras Shevchenko’s works on the Greek literary landscape, with the recognition of the most famous translator’s of Shevchenko, and its influence on the accuracy and artistic features of the translation. The article deals with the development of the Neohellenistic translation studies in Ukraine in the second half of XX – beginning of XXI century. The figures of the translated Ukrainian authors are being explored descriptively. In the article the main translation trends in Ukraine and Grease of the aforementioned period are defined, too. The development of Greek and Ukrainian critics of the works of Ukrainian poets and writers in Modern Greek is a subject that is not well investigated, so today there is a small amount of research on this issue. Till now, the work on the disclosure has been out by E. Alexiou, N. A. Basenko-Kormali, T. Chernyshova, N. F. Klymenko, O. D. Ponomariov.
