Ultrasonic Sensor Based 3D Mapping & Localization
Journal Title: International Journal on Computer Science and Engineering - Year 2016, Vol 8, Issue 4
Abstract
This article provides a basic level introduction to 3D mapping using sonar sensors and localization. It describes the methods used to construct a low-cost autonomous robot along with the hardware and software used as well as an insight to the background of autonomous robotic 3D mapping and localization. We have also given an overview to what the future prospects of the robot may hold in 3D based mapping.

Explore the Performance of the ARM Processor<br /> Using JPEG
Recently, the evolution of embedded systems has shown a strong trend towards application- specific, single- chip solutions. The ARM processor core is a leading RISC processor architecture in the embedded domain. The ARM...
Improved Hybrid Clustering and Distance-based Technique for Outlier Removal
Outliers detection is a task that finds objects that are dissimilar or inconsistent with respect to the remaining data. It has many uses in applications like fraud detection, network intrusion detection and clinical diag...
Convergence of ART in Few Projections
Algebraic Reconstruction Technique (ART) is an iterative algorithm to obtain reconstruction from projections in a finite number of iterations. The present paper discuses the convergence achieved in small number of iterat...
PRODUCTIVE CO PROCESSOR DESIGN BASED ON PROGRAM BENCHMARK
The objective of this paper is to design a methodology where many co-processors are accessed by the processor in array mode. By using co processor, the work on the multi core processor gets reduced by accessing it in arr...
MEDICAL IMAGE SEGMENTATION
Image segmentation is an essential but critical component in low level vision image analysis, pattern recognition, and in obotic systems. It is one of the most difficult and challenging tasks in image processing which d...
