Abstract
Problemem analizowanym w artykule była wykładnia kan. 1290 Kodeksu Prawa Kanonicznego w odniesieniu do umów. Przepis ten dotyczy zobowiązań zarówno w szczególności, jak i ogólności, co oznacza, że dotyczy także umów. Skuteczność w prawie kanonicznym wywołują wszystkie umowy, czy to nazwane, czy to mieszane niezależnie od tego, czy są uregulowane w kodeksie cywilnym. Wyjątki od zasady kanonizacji umów ustawodawca kościelny dokładnie określa w omawianym kanonie.
