Abstract
Present study is a case observed in the department of anatomy at Shri Bhausaheb Hire Government Medical College, Dhule. During routine cadaveric dissection of first M,B.B.S students in department of anatomy, a case of unilateral ectopic kidney with non rotation and vascular anomaly was found in an adult male cadaver. An accessory artery to inferior pole may obstruct the ureter leading to hydronephrosis. During operative procedures, a surgeon should be careful about accessory renal arteries because these are end arteries, consequently, if an accessory artery is damaged or ligated, the part of kidney supplied by it will become ischemic.
