USABILITY OF THE CHAMILO LMS FOR CREATING AN INTERACTIVE TEXTBOOK "REGIONAL GEOGRAPHY OF UPPER POHRONIE"

Abstract

The paper is dedicated to verifying the use of the Chamilo e-learning program to create an interactive textbook Regional Geography of Upper Pohronie. Paper also compares Chamilo with other programs for interactive textbooks. Based on the first two chapters of the interactive textbook, we can say that Chamilo is useful for creating interactive textbooks. Benefits are its free accessibility, the ease of graphic overwriting, the ability to upload pictures, videos, internet connections and simple test creation. Such interactive learning content is more attractive to pupils. Some of its shortcomings were found in the textbook, but the program met the requirements for creating and distributing an interactive textbook. The paper was developed as part of the project KEGA 002UMB-4/2017 "Interactive electronic textbook of regional geography of Upper Pohronie".
