Uśmierzanie bólu w warunkach przedszpitalnych

Journal Title: Na Ratunek - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 1

Abstract

Pain is one of the basic, subjective symptoms that are a frequent reason for calling the Emergency Medical Services (EMS). In accordance with the Act of 25.09.2015 on amending the Act on Emergency Medical Services and the Regulation of the Minister of Health of 20.04.2016 on emergency medical procedures and health services other than emergency medical procedures performed by a paramedic, medical emergency teams have non-opioid drugs (ASA, ibuprofenum, ketoprofenum, paracetamolum, metamizolum natricum) and opioids (fentanylum, morphini sulfas) at their disposal. In pain relief the three-step analgesic ladder should be applied. Metoxyflurane may become a novelty, which in Europe is gaining more and more interest and indications, among others in immediate pain management.
