În articol sunt prezentate preocupările autorilor pentru cercetarea particularităţilor statisticii pe termen scurt. Sunt definite: statistica pe termen scurt, caracteristicile principale ale cercetărilor statistice infraanuale, implementarea cercetării statistice integrate pe termen scurt, aspecte privind aplicarea metodei prin sondaj la realizarea cercetării integrate pe termen scurt.
