सर कार्ल पॉपर के अनुसार वैज्ञानिक सिधान्तो में पुन विवेचना की आवश्यकता है जिससे वे सत्य के निकट पहुंचे जहा विज्ञानं अपने आप को स्वयं सिद्द्त मानता है वही विज्ञानं स्वयं का कई कसौटियों में परीक्षण करता है सत्य तक पहुंचने हेतु तर्क एवं गणित की सहायता आवश्यक होती है ावैज्ञानिक विधि केवल प्रत्यक्षिकरण पर आधारित होती है
